Relax on the sofa and put pillows on the floor for the young-uns.   You're now ready for a full hour of entertainment just for you & your family.  Lou Ann Homan, storytelling enchantress, has an unforgettable evening of classic Outer Banks ghost stories ready to share.

As the crimson sun sets on Pamlico Sound Lou Ann's spine-tingling tales will captivate young and old alike.  You will listen with rapt attention as she relates local legends such as "The Flaming Ship of Ocracoke," "The Wandering Ghost of Theodosia Burr," & "The Pirates of Nags Head."

Lou Ann is available for private bookings seasonally (June & July) at any Ocracoke Island cottage.   Call us (252-928-6300) to arrange a date and time.  Cost is $150.00.  (Call for rates off-island.)

Host a unique evening of interactive "dinner theater" for your family & friends on the Outer Banks of North Carolina.  What could be more fun than spending one evening of your vacation with the likes of crusty old sea captains, peg-legged pirates, bodacious island beauties, scalawags, and rum-drinking rapscallions.  But avast, me hearties!  They all  be you!  And one of you will succumb to the evil deeds of the dastardly devil amongst you.  It's your task to solve the mystery on the seacoast!  Can you do it?

Lou Ann Homan has been hosting murder mysteries for more than a decade and is a master of her craft.  Her Murder Mystery Theater just may be the highlight of your Outer Banks vacation.

This production is suitable for groups of between 12 & 20 people (adults and/or children at least 12 years old).  Lou Ann brings along a trunk full of costumes and props, as well as instructions for all of the "cast."  You are responsible for providing the rental cottage or other location, overnight accommodations for Lou Ann (she's flexible!), as well as the dinner meal and refreshments.  Typically the evening begins at 6:00 pm and ends at the bewitching hour.

Call us (252-928-6300) to discuss date, time, and other details.  This production is professionally tailored for your specific group and requires individualized preparation time to produce.  To request a booking, please make reservations at least two weeks in advance.  More notice is even better.  Murder Mysteries may not be available for all dates.  Booking requests made less than two weeks in advance will be considered, but may not be accepted.  Cost is $600.00 anywhere on the Outer Banks from Corolla to Hatteras, including Roanoke Island; $500.00 on Ocracoke Island.

Ocracoke Ghost & History Walk 

Join a small group for a one and a half hour walking tour of Ocracoke Village.  Hear authentic "Island Tales from the Crypt" & learn little-known Ocracoke Island History.

In-season tours begin at 7:30 p.m. at Village Craftsmen on Howard Street.  Cost is $12.00/adult; $6.00/child (6-12).
