Martha Ungate-Hayes is an accomplished and creative potter as well as a frequent visitor to Ocracoke Island.

Her beautiful and durable pottery in soft, subtle tones of blues and grays will add a mellow touch to your table.

We are proud to offer an extensive selection of her work here. 

As you will notice, Martha's patterns will vary, although all of her pieces are complementary.  The photos below may not always represent the exact patterns we have in stock.  The dinner and luncheon plates, spoon rest and soup bowl are only available in the plain, banded pattern.  Other pieces will be glazed with one of the other patterns.  If you would like to be more specific with your order please contact us.

As with all of our pottery, Martha's pieces are lead-free and suitable for use in dishwasher, microwave, or conventional oven.  However do not place this or other hand-made pottery in a pre-heated oven or otherwise subject it to rapid temperature changes.
