A record of work done in November,  2004 (click on most photos to see a larger image):

November 1 - 15, 2004:

By the middle of this month almost all of the structural and exterior work has been completed on the house.  Only a few finishing touches on the rear porch and step railings, and the front porch ceiling are yet to be done.

Still to be completed is the finish work inside -- HVAC & plumbing installed, electric wiring, floors laid upstairs and in the downstairs kitchen & bath, beadboard walls & ceilings repaired where necessary, floors sanded & finished.  Of course, the house will have to be painted.  A traditional plank fence will be built last.

With the coming holidays I am anticipating slow progress for the next several months.  Jim O'Brien and his crew of carpenters have left and will return when plumbing and electric are complete.

In the meanwhile, I have included a few photos to show what the interior of the house looks like.
