The Homer & Aliph Howard Home
Click on photo below for an introduction to our rehabilitation project:

A record of work done in April, 2004 (click on most photos to see a
larger image):
After several delays, work was again resumed on reinforcing the underpinnings
of the house. New, treated floor joists and beams were added between and
beneath the original, existing members (which at one time were ships'
timbers).
That work set the stage for the construction of new brick piers.
Specially ordered, antique style bricks are being used to recreate the original
appearance of the house.
